I'm so glad you're here ;)
For years, literal years, I've wanted to create a blog but I've never had the ovaries to do it. Plenty of excuses had clouded my view of my end goal. I'm an athlete I need to focus on that. I need to get a job...I need to focus on that job. Cool I started but it needs to be perfect...And stagnant I stayed. But why now, Lana?

This quote (you'll find out soon that I love quotes) was the kick in the butt I needed. I could hold back hoping things would be perfect but all I was doing was waiting and watch as other people do the things that I wish I could. Well, I'm tired of that. This blog is a chance for me to finally start and learn along the way. What I hope to bring you is a different voice and hopefully content you look forward to reading, learning, and at the very least bad puns we can both laugh at.

But who are you, Lana?
Well, since you asked...I'm 29 (today actually) and I'm a creative. For those who aren't familiar with that term, I work at an advertising agency as an Art Supervisor. My background is in English and Art and I have an affinity for photography and drawing. Outside of my creative work, I was a Division I athlete
as a hammer thrower (yes, that is a sport, we'll chat later). I love to dance and laugh and experience new things...What those things are, you'll soon find out. Check back to see what's new at Life gives
